Milkwash Series

 Milkwash, explores the changing light and water and light refraction off the sea. Without the poignant landmass pinpointing time, it somehow feels both eternal and fleeting. I've often spoken about the lack of figures within my work, as I want the images to represent the shared experience, rather than the story of an individual. This made me think more closely about the shared experience of absorbing the landscape. Beyond specific locations, to the edge of the land. Coastlines reflecting an atmosphere of the surreal and somehow comforting. A memory repeated at each horizon, overlapping with the last, somehow igniting a sublime experience.
