Available Original Artworks
Connie Liebschner is inspired by the waters of Scotland, spending much of her time exploring and swimming in new locations. She captures these experiences through photographs and plein air watercolour sketches, which form the foundation and story behind each artwork. Back in her home studio, Connie develops these studies into original pieces using a carefully crafted, solvent-free process. Working with water-based pigments, inks, and acrylics, she dyes gesso and applies it to birch or poplar plywood panels, most of which are cradle-backed for added rigidity. This technique builds depth and a distinctive chalky, layered quality, bringing the landscapes to life.
If you are interested in a piece, Connie would be happy to share more about the artwork’s story, original watercolour sketches, framing options, photographs in situ, and discuss commissions. Please visit the Contact page to get in touch.
